Orange Whip features a large variety of quality recording equipment. Your project can be recorded on 2" analog tape, 24 bit ProTools digital, or ADAT digital. Should your specific project require a different type of recorder, we can get it. We have a full complement of mics and outboard gear to go with numerous pieces of musical gear including guitar and bass amps and a Hammond B3 organ with Leslie. Check out all the gear in pictures. Or, if you're so inclined, you can check out our plain vanilla gear list with links to specs and the like for nearly every piece of gear.

While we record a lot more than full length albums, the chance that you will be familiar such projects is pretty slim.
Some of the artists that have recorded at Orange Whip which you may have heard of are: Lagwagon, Bad Astronaut, Jeff Bridges, Christopher Cross, Ultraspank, the Ataris, Nerf Herder, and The Mad Caddies.

To make your stay at Orange Whip complete, we have a lounge with cable TV, VCR, and Sony Playstation. We also have high speed internet access incase you need your fix while you are recording. Take a gander at the lounge, the offices, and other not so secret places at the Whip.
